The German Shorthaired Pointer is one of the most versatile working dogs. They have endless amount of energy and drive for a long days hunt. They have a high intelligence level and a large willingness to please. Their short thick coat allows for quick drying to go along with their immense desire to swim. They are simply the best well rounded working dogs there are.

Our GSP’s are carefully selected based on bloodline, physical breed standards, and personality. We at Willow Pond Pointers believe that a dog must not only learn to perform its task at hand successfully and efficiently, but must also be a strong member of the family and work hard to care for that family. We form memories with these dogs in and out of the field and wish to give that same experience to those we work with.
